Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Quiz Ascend, including quiz packs, battles, leaderboards, profiles, creator tools, AI pack generation, and premium features.

By creating an account, using the app, publishing content, joining battles, or subscribing to premium, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Quiz Ascend.

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, including packs created, battles played, and purchases made.
• Quiz Ascend is not intended for children under 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you should use the app only with permission from a parent or guardian.
• We may require you to choose or update a username that is misleading, offensive, infringing, impersonating another person, or otherwise unsuitable.

Quiz Ascend includes competitive features such as battles, ranks, achievements, and leaderboards. These features are intended for fair play and may change over time.

• Do not cheat, exploit bugs, automate gameplay, manipulate rankings, share accounts to gain an advantage, or interfere with other players.
• We may adjust scores, ranks, achievements, battle results, or leaderboard placements when we detect abuse, errors, or suspicious activity.
• Ranks, rewards, achievements, and competitive formats may be updated, reset, removed, or rebalanced as the app evolves.

You may create, edit, publish, and share quiz packs and related content. You keep ownership of content you create, but you grant Quiz Ascend permission to host, display, reproduce, distribute, modify for formatting, and make that content available in connection with the app.

• You are responsible for your pack titles, descriptions, questions, answers, prompts, images, and any other submitted content.
• Do not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive, infringing, privacy-invasive, or otherwise abusive.
• Do not include private personal information about yourself or others in public packs or AI prompts.
• We may remove, restrict, edit, unpublish, or refuse content that violates these terms, harms users, creates legal risk, or undermines app quality.

Premium users may receive access to AI-assisted pack generation. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, duplicated, or unsuitable for your intended audience.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating AI-generated questions and answers before publishing or using them.

• Do not submit confidential information, payment details, government identifiers, health information, or private information about other people in AI prompts.
• Do not use AI generation to create illegal, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive content.
• AI features may be limited, rate-limited, changed, suspended, or discontinued based on availability, safety, cost, abuse prevention, or product decisions.

Quiz Ascend may offer premium subscriptions or paid features. Premium benefits may include AI pack generation, additional official packs, profile treatment, or other features described at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date through the payment provider, app store, or account flow used to subscribe.

• Prices, included features, trial availability, billing periods, and renewal terms will be shown before purchase and may change for future billing periods where permitted by law.
• If a payment fails, premium access may be suspended, downgraded, or cancelled.
• Refunds are handled according to the payment provider, app store, and applicable law. Unless required by law, fees already paid may be non-refundable.
• Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically delete your account or previously created content.

• Do not use Quiz Ascend for illegal activity, harassment, hate, threats, spam, phishing, malware, or exploitation.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, disrupt, probe, or interfere with the app, servers, security systems, or other users.
• Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent affiliation, or use usernames, avatars, packs, or messages to deceive others.
• Do not upload or distribute content that violates intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Do not sell, transfer, or sublicense your account or access to premium features without permission.

Quiz Ascend, including the app design, code, branding, official packs, logos, interfaces, and platform content, is owned by Quiz Ascend or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

These terms do not transfer ownership of Quiz Ascend intellectual property to you. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app as permitted by these terms.

We may investigate suspected violations and take action to protect Quiz Ascend, users, rankings, payment systems, and app integrity.

• Actions may include warnings, content removal, pack unpublishing, feature limits, leaderboard adjustments, account suspension, account termination, or premium access removal.
• We may preserve or disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce these terms, prevent fraud, or protect safety.

Quiz Ascend may change, suspend, discontinue, or limit any feature, content, game mode, leaderboard, premium benefit, or AI capability at any time. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Quiz Ascend is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

Quiz content, including AI-generated content and community packs, may contain errors or outdated information. Quiz Ascend should not be relied on for professional, legal, medical, financial, safety, or educational certification decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quiz Ascend and its owners, operators, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, service interruption, or content loss.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Quiz Ascend for the service in the three months before the claim or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quiz Ascend from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the app, your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information. By using Quiz Ascend, you also agree to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms & Conditions as Quiz Ascend changes. When changes are material, we may provide notice in the app, by email, or by updating the effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
